The Cardigan Welsh Corgi Club of Southern California was founded in 1970 by a small group of dedicated Cardigan lovers in and around the San Diego and Los Angeles areas. The CWCCSC was the first regional Cardigan Welsh Corgi club formed in North America, and is probably the oldest Cardigan club in the world after the national clubs of Great Britain and the USA.
